From College student to a Jeweler.
Mohamed Bary came out as a college student from a small town in Galle in the southern part of Sri Lanka, located in a small island in Asia.
First started to have a traditional gem cutting operation with two people, one for cutting and the other to polish the natural gemstones in the front entrance of his residence.
This attracted the tourists, who were viewing the Old Dutch fort. The traditional Gem cutting allured tourists to come view what was being made. It was curiosity that intrigued them forward.
As natural gem stones are rare, the cutting enticed the tourists to have a look at the admirable stones. Un-intentionally, this location gradually increased with the tourists and popularity. With this eminence, the location transformed into a well-known retail jewelry store in this small island of Sri Lanka.
Mohamed Bary has been in the U.S since the 1980, With the positive sales with the customers, many saw the potential of his work and invited him to the U.S in order to participate in the largest gem show around. This is called the Tucson gem show. Through this experience, he has traveled around the world to showcase his gem-work and received more customers than ever imaginable. This 28 year experience has landed him here in the small state of Ohio.
